The Beavon Children

In addition to these three daughters who were clearly most influential for Frederick, there were 5 other children.

Sarah Anne was 3 years younger than Mary Jane. Sarah married Tim Davies a Steel worker from Pontypool. They had no children and Sarah died in 1908 aged 43.

George is 3 years younger than Alice and as said earlier married Minnie Spruce. They also had no children. Minnie died in Leighton Buzzard and 6 years later George joined his sister in Penarth.

Thomas didn’t marry and apparently joined his two sisters in Desborough. He took the other house next door to Julius at number 6 and ran a Grocers shop. He was successful at this and probably with Nellie’s help. But he died quite young at 34. Nellie rand the shop until the family left Desborough.

Sidney was born around 1879, 3 years after Nellie but died aged from TB aged around 16.

And finally, Emily. I am guessing she would have been born around 18984, about the same age as her nephew Frederick. Emily was by far the more productive of the Beavon children. She married Frank Hartland, a local steelworker who worked at Hickmans (Stewart & Lloyds). They had two daughters, Dorothy and Mabel, Frederick’s cousins.

Dorothy married Frank Davidson and had 3 boys who went to Wellington School. They lived near Bridgnorth. Dorothy ended her day in Shifnal Shropshire. Mabel did no marry, she lived with her parents in Wolverhampton, near Bilston.
